We actually kind of broke up during Phase 1 and 2...Long story, but to sum it up we fought a lot and he was hurt and I was hurt and it was just too sensitive to deal with while he was adjusting to his new life. Now, we e-mail weekly and he calls me about every two weeks. I hear if they're keeping in touch with you then you're important to them. I still love him and miss him every single day. It's getting better. Patience and Positive go a long way...Hang in there everyone and THANK YOU for this post. It's all making sense now. During phase 1 I thought I was insane, but it was all fear. None of my friends understand.Katienoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5844054692006527221.post-50108287534904389132010-10-21T00:55:19.406-02:002010-10-21T00:55:19.406-02:00thanks for sharing this...pretty accurate...my hub...thanks for sharing this...pretty accurate...my hubby and brother just left yesterday for deployment...must say I am still in a fogJessicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06301106509706986405noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5844054692006527221.post-2636119862519771102010-10-19T15:43:51.616-02:002010-10-19T15:43:51.616-02:00This is exactly what you go through...as you know:...This is exactly what you go through...as you know:(

Thanks for posting this...I'm sure that it has helped/will help alot of milspouse that have or are about to go through a deployment.

Sending you hugs girlie!!!!Goodnight moonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09849421663729055198noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5844054692006527221.post-79882161284573057242010-10-19T13:10:11.132-02:002010-10-19T13:10:11.132-02:00oh my goodness, i so could have written thisoh my goodness, i so could have written thistrooppetriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17760346169494672225noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5844054692006527221.post-73946933482667442592010-10-18T00:08:07.699-02:002010-10-18T00:08:07.699-02:00Hey girl! When I'm alone and doing things myself for a while I get annoyed when people come along and change it up. I just know that there are going to be things he does now like driving for example, that I love to do myself, so when he comes back and wants to be in the driver seat again it'll be a brawl. I'm still in stage 3, complete with full blown insomnia and zero appetite, but I feel myself slowly transitioning into stage 4, which I will be very happy about! Its hard letting go of the control and relying on each other again. Part of me doesn't even want to because even though we just got off the deployment roller coaster we're getting right back on again soon! :(Brittneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03826972932495686229noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5844054692006527221.post-83432393955958694682010-10-15T22:30:31.769-02:002010-10-15T22:30:31.769-02:00I just copied and pasted this into my USMC folder ...I just copied and pasted this into my USMC folder for whenever I go through my first deployment! :) Thank ya mam!Jordan Colehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18125211405761101615noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5844054692006527221.post-80137990597229853872010-10-15T21:35:51.310-02:002010-10-15T21:35:51.310-02:00I saw it on that site too. This is fantastic to not be hungry all the time! I could stay in Stage 3 my whole life, maybe I'll actually make it to my goal weight! :) I really don't think I'll have any problem giving up control and having OccDoc back to clean up my messes and pay the bills.Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09540357391500090255noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5844054692006527221.post-36274772241465915982010-10-15T19:21:10.235-02:002010-10-15T19:21:10.235-02:00So very true! I never allowed him to cook, clean, nothing. We argued so much for about a month straight. I think this time around, I'll let go and let him do what he needs to do to settle in.
