I'm Nearly Catatonic So I Can't Think Of A Tittle. I Mean Title.
If you know me, at all, you know I adore Kristen Bell. I mean WAY beyond girl crush level. This love grew exponentially when I was living with my sister in AZ during Mr. Superman's deployment. See, I met this amazing person name Nikki and she changed my life. Partly because she's almost too awesome to handle but mostly because she got me HOOKED on Veronica Mars. I don't know how I loved Kristen Bell so much without having ever watched an episode of Veronica Mars.
Another thing I am obsessed with is sloths. Oh my word I hear the word sloth and I freak out.
Well Lovelies, let me share this too good for description clip I just saw. I am just dying laughing all while having tears streaming down my face.
Thank you Nikki. Thank you Ellen. Thank you JessJess for posting this. Thank you Kristen Bell. Mostly, thank you sloth.

Ours
I love Taylor Swift.
She's adorable.
She speaks her mind.
She doesn't care what anyone thinks.
She loves wildly and without regret.
I just watched her newest music video for her song 'Ours' and had to share it. It was a hidden track on a bonus disc in a deluxe set of one of her albums. All of her fans who discovered it, loved the song, requested the heck out of it, and clamored for a music video.
So she listened.
I love what she said in response to how it all unfolded.
'I love my fans because they let the best song win.'
The best song wins indeed. I thought it was endearing and charming and SO honest. My heavens I had flashbacks from all of the horrible jobs where I had to sit in a cubicle and just counted the seconds until the end of the day. Then I saw the last 15 seconds and started bawling.
Thank you Taylor.
Its once again, an honest and spot on portrayal of real life.
Maybe not everyone's real life but mine and a whole lot of people I know.
Now watch it Lovelies.

Amazing.
I got an email from Blue Star Families this morning and got so excited when I read about the awesome thing the hilarious Jack Black and Jason Segel are doing for military families. Read about it directly from BSF.
"Comedic genius Jack Black and funnyman Jason Segel (ummmm... have you SEEN Forgetting Sarah Marshall?!) have teamed up for a seriously great twist on a classic holiday song! Check it out on iTunes because all the proceeds go directly to BSF! Rock on!"

Stars Stripped Down
Now I know many of you may have just clicked this in your Google Reader because you thought there was gonna be some nudies but even though you'll be disappointed on that front, be assured that seeing the truth about your flawless, perfect stars stripped of their Photoshop goodness will give you a boost of self-confidence. What a great way to start your Monday eh? Love it.
I love me some JT, you know because he DID bring sexy back, but even the men wanna look perfect.
Madge gives me the hee-bee-jeebies and I'm glad to see she does indeed look her age.
Mariah is a little clueless and a lot of diva. This one didn't surprise me at all.
I actually think Jessica is holding her own. She is fabulous.
Um, why did they shave half of Faith Hill's arm off?
Tyra is still fierce!
Britney love, all the partying, head shaving, and breakdowns have gotten to you.
I absolutely ADORE all of the Kardashians but Kim K is just fabulous! She makes me feel better about my thunder thighs.
I much prefer Naomi's natural skin color to the Photoshop version.
I actually have the same puffy under-eyes that Brittany Murphy had. I think she's gorgeous.
This one almost offends me. They erased her freckles!
I love Julia Stiles! This one is actually barely altered.
Oh Kelly, Miss Independent. Even you couldn't escape the edit button.
Oh how I love Katherine Hiegl. Both are great but natural is still better. The overdone perfection is cheesy.
Once again, even the men get their uneven skin tones and random forehead cuts edited out.
This one makes me laugh a little. Cameron is already so flawless!
Even one of my favorite ex-Desperate Housewives needed a few touch ups. Perhaps this was post Michael Bolton. Oh I don't blame you hunny.

Dear John
I love Nicholas Sparks' work. Every single one of his books tugs at the heartstrings and never fails to make me a water works show. I also love that a lot of his books have made it to film and none of them have failed to impress.

Well this newest one looks like its going to be amazing. The book was fantastic and heartbreaking (of course) and the movie looks like it'll be the same. When I cry during the trailer, its a sign. This comes out in February.

The last song is also a great book and its film is due to release in April of this year. Its the one with Miley Cyrus. There is one more Nicholas Sparks novel that is being made into a film. Its currently in production and is called The Lucky One.

Wow... GaGa for Stefani Germanotta (Lady GaGa)
Okay, admittedly Lady GaGa seems a little cuckoo with the eye lashes, the flame throwing bra's, the painted on, skin tight, latex suits, but man oh man she has got talent. Here is a trip down memory lane, four or so years ago at the annual NYU Talent Show back when she wasn't GaGa, just plain, old Stefani.

We are in agreement
I received this from my MIL and agreed with it whole-heartedly. Not just because the media/liberal Hollywood worship makes me sick and not because my husband is in the Air Force and the possibility of him getting deployed terrifies me. I agree with it because the American people take what we have, for granted. No one thinks that the reason they get to sleep in a comfy bed at night with full stomach's is because of the blood that has been given on their behalf. Here it is:
SOLDIER RESPONDS TO MJ'S DEATH
This is written by a young man serving his third tour of duty in Iraq. Thought you might find his take on the Michael Jackson news interesting.
________________________________________________________________________________________
"Okay, I need to rant. I was just watching the news, and I caught part of a report on Michael Jackson. As we all know, Jackson died the other day. He was an entertainer who performed for decades. He made millions, he spent millions, and he did a lot of things that make him a villain to many people. I understand that his death would affect a lot of people and I respect those people who mourn his death, but that isn't the point of my rant.
Why is it that when ONE man dies, the whole of America loses their minds with grief? When a man dies whose only contribution to the country was to ENTERTAIN people, the American people find the need to flock to a memorial in Hollywood, and even Congress sees the need to hold a "moment of silence" for his passing?
Am I missing something here? ONE man dies, and all of a sudden he's a freaking martyr because he entertained us for a few decades? What about all those SOLDIERS who have died to give us freedom? All those soldiers who, knowing that they would be asked to fight in a war, still raised their hands and swore to defend the Constitution and the United States of America. Where is their moment of silence? Where are the people flocking to their graves or memorials and mourning over them because they made the ultimate sacrifice? Why is it when a soldier dies, there are more people saying "good riddance," and "thank God for IEDs?" When did this country become so calloused to the sacrifice of GOOD MEN and WOMEN, that they can arbitrarily blow off their deaths, and instead, throw themselves into mourning for a "Pop Icon?"
I think that if they are going to hold a moment of silence IN CONGRESS For Michael Jackson, they need to hold a moment of silence for every Service member killed in Iraq and Afghanistan. They need to PUBLICLY recognize every life that has been lost so that the American people can live their callous little lives in the luxury and freedom that WE, those that are living and those that have gone on, have provided for them. But, wait, that would take too much time, because there have been so many willing to make that sacrifice. After all, we will never make millions of dollars. We will never star in movies, or write hit songs that the world will listen too. We only shed our blood, sweat, and tears so that people can enjoy what they have.
Sorry if I have offended, but I needed to say it. Remember these five words the next time you think of someone who is serving in the military;
"So that others may live..."
Isaac"
