I'm Nearly Catatonic So I Can't Think Of A Tittle. I Mean Title.

If you know me, at all, you know I adore Kristen Bell. I mean WAY beyond girl crush level. This love grew exponentially when I was living with my sister in AZ during Mr. Superman's deployment. See, I met this amazing person name Nikki and she changed my life. Partly because she's almost too awesome to handle but mostly because she got me HOOKED on Veronica Mars. I don't know how I loved Kristen Bell so much without having ever watched an episode of Veronica Mars.

Another thing I am obsessed with is sloths. Oh my word I hear the word sloth and I freak out.

Well Lovelies, let me share this too good for description clip I just saw. I am just dying laughing all while having tears streaming down my face.

Ours

I love Taylor Swift.
She's adorable.
She speaks her mind.
She doesn't care what anyone thinks.
She loves wildly and without regret.

I just watched her newest music video for her song 'Ours' and had to share it. It was a hidden track on a bonus disc in a deluxe set of one of her albums. All of her fans who discovered it, loved the song, requested the heck out of it, and clamored for a music video.

So she listened. 

I love what she said in response to how it all unfolded.

'I love my fans because they let the best song win.'

The best song wins indeed. I thought it was endearing and charming and SO honest. My heavens I had flashbacks from all of the horrible jobs where I had to sit in a cubicle and just counted the seconds until the end of the day. Then I saw the last 15 seconds and started bawling.

Thank you Taylor.
Its once again, an honest and spot on portrayal of real life.
Maybe not everyone's real life but mine and a whole lot of people I know.

Here We Go. Again. Again.

There used to be a time here on my blog that I used to be gung-ho, in your face, constantly debating, ever-posting about politics. I don't do it much at all now but my opinions haven't changed. I read Samantha The Army Wife's post today though, and I could no longer hold back. My postings were all the way back before the current president became president and when the country seemed to be in meltdown. Now I look back and realize that wasn't meltdown. Not at all. Back then is NOTHING compared to NOW. I could talk until I'm BLUE in the face and we could go round and round in circles addressing THE ISSUES but that wouldn't do a single thing. Wanna know how I know? No, I'm not psychic. I just know because that's what our elected officials, the ones who hold 'the power' have been doing for longer than I care to think about. Well, in between their well deserved, badly needed, ever earned vacation time. Wanna know how much good its done?

ZIP. ZILCH. NADA. ZERO. BUTKISS.

Most everything that politicians think are important and spend all their time 'trying to figure out', makes me sick. I get angry and frustrated and upset but I try to just NOT think about it because its not worth the way it all makes me feel.

We all know of the scares earlier this year when Military pay was going to be frozen leaving most of the military and their families in major binds. Bills were still going to be due but none of us would have had the money. Well, that didn't happen and I think most everyone sighed a sigh of relief thinking it was all over and nothing more needed to be thought or worried about.

Not me.
Not my family.
Not most of the people I know who stay informed and up to date on what Congress does concerning our fates and futures.

Its Stephen Colbert and yes he's funny but this has got to be the one and only video of his I have never laughed at.
It made me sick.
It made me want to grab and shake every politician and member of Congress and make them see how utterly preposterous, selfish, ludicrous, absurd, unethical, unfair, and inequitable their REASONING is.

With all of this 'Occupy Wallstreet', 'What you have earned and worked for, I deserve', 'I am the 99%' crap that's been going on and getting WAY too much attention, people's eyes have been turned to view the wealthy and privileged as awful, evil people. How dare they work and earn massive sums of money without giving it to MEEEEE!!! Do you want to know the REALITY? Anyone who feels so entitled to anything they themselves haven't slaved and worked for, regardless of what it is are truly the awful and evil people.

With all of the news coverage and articles about this current ludicrousness, eyes haven't been trained on Congress watching what they've been doing. Nobody has been pointing out the obvious yet easily ignored facts that what's wrong with this country ISN'T big corporations. It ISN'T capitalism. It ISN'T the people in suits who make their money from stocks and bonds and trading. Most people hear budget cuts and the different proposals that can never be agreed upon and their eyes glaze over so they don't want to look close enough to see that the REAL problem with this country is us. Its the people we've elected to run the country. What's wrong with our country is the flippancy that is directed towards the Armed Forces past, present, and future.

To think that the benefits of our Veteran's are the first things that come to the minds of our 'SUPER CONGRESS' when thinking of what needs to be cut...

That, THAT right there is what's wrong with this country.

Now let's look at the REAL 1% shall we?

If only the blindness of America and ignorance of Washington could be fixed by the simple snap of the fingers.

To Dance is Pure Happiness

I saw this on Monday over at Hope Floats. It had me in tears and laughing. It never fails to amaze me the freedom and happiness and love that can be expressed through dance. Be sure to watch the entire thing, its great. The Netherlands and Fiji are some of my favorites.

Dude. Did anyone see last night's game between the Suns & the Spurs? If not, you missed out. The last 6 out of 7 series between these two teams has resulted in ridiculous losses on the Suns end. I'm not just being a hardcore fan right now, I mean one year there was a ref who admitted to throwing the series AFTER the Spurs won. The Spurs are a dirty team. Hate them. Ha ha! Anyways, hate Ginobili, love Dragic.

What IF??

I saw this and after convincing myself I needed to watch it regardless of my fear, I watched it. Four times. I cried and I still have chills. The world is full of what if's but for those of us who suffer from it, IF is more than a question, its a state of being, a disease, and a massive hurdle we must get over even if we fall. IF: InFertility. Watch this and share it. It's beautiful AND heart-wrenching.

The Party Don't Start Til I Walk In...

I imagine being in the Air Force Academy they have a lot more opportunities and freedom for their creativity spectrum and entertainment. I love running across videos like this. A bit of sunshine on a cloudy Sunday

I've been doing some Sunday cruising on the blogs and was checkin' up on my new friend Mrs. G.I. Joe  and I fell in love with this video she had posted. I completely agree with her on the fact that I was crying through the entire thing. Good tears! Mr. Superman and I have been extremely lucky in the fact that we are still fairly new to the military world (a year is still baby status), so we have not yet had to deal with deployments. This has gotta be one of the only and best highlights of said deployments. Enjoy, share, support our troops!

yeah, we still play like kids.

you know how i got to hobby lobby a lot? well cody almost always indulges me and comes along. this is why i bought him this mentos/diet coke bomb thing. i had never seen it so he made me do the honors. in the video you'll see he was really trying to get me to vomit by having diet coke spray me. i loathe diet coke. it is satan juice. GROSS. we are bringing it to arizona with us because we have dreams of seeing jacob experience the wonder. hopefully amber doesn't see this before we get there. or better yet, hopefully she does so she can show jacob and the excitement can build up.

I got this in an email and thought it was absolutely fantastic and I had to share. Enjoy lovelies.

A palindrome reads the same backwards as forward. This video reads the exact opposite backwards as forward. Not only does it read the opposite, the meaning is the exact opposite. This is only a 1 minute, 44 second video and it is brilliant. Make sure you read as well as listen...forward and backward.

This is a video that was submitted in a contest by a 20-year old. The contest was titled "u @ 50" by AARP. This video won second place. When they showed it, everyone in the room was awe-struck and broke into spontaneous applause. So simple and yet so brilliant. Take a minute and watch it.

Okay, admittedly Lady GaGa seems a little cuckoo with the eye lashes, the flame throwing bra's, the painted on, skin tight, latex suits, but man oh man she has got talent. Here is a trip down memory lane, four or so years ago at the annual NYU Talent Show back when she wasn't GaGa, just plain, old Stefani.

Shout out time!!

As most of those who know us well know, we are extremely close to my sister's family. We were always over there hanging out or babysitting and just love being there. It really is like a second home. We love all of our nieces and nephews so much but the ones who were the saddest when Cody left were the White kids. Cody and I made a quick little video yesterday for them kiddies. Here it is!!

I am sitting hear laughing hysterically because I just ran across an old video from when I lived in Safford going to EAC. It was in 2006 and Cody and I had just met when 3 of my best buddies from high school drove up and surprised me for the weekend. Davey, James, and Grubbs (Mike) are so funny and this video proves it. They found the toilet in my backyard and enjoyed my bowling lane hallway for scootering and skateboarding in outrageously short shorts. There's also a clip from a dance off with the infamous Christy Dobbs who lives in Thatcher and is mentally handicapped but such a sweet girl. Everyone whose ever lived or visited there knows who she is. Enjoy!!

HOLY CROW!! I got chills.

I have resolved that I will NOT be in the midnight showings so I can actually enjoy movies. This one is tempting me but I am resolved. I think they learned a ton from the first one and that this one is going to be a whole lot better. Can you say Jacob is hot? I can. I just did. This is gonna be good.

Some Sweet June Lovin'

Cody's friend Robby got home from his mission and Cody loved being able to hang out with him tons before leaving.
