How To Be The Perfect Wife

Him: Do you want to sort laundry before I go to the Post Office?
Me: Did you seriously just ask me if I wanted to sort laundry?

SILENCE

Him: Do you want to know why I just asked that?
Me: Hmm...
Him: Do you know how I know it needs to get done?

SILENCE

Him: Do you know what I wore to work yesterday?

SILENCE

Me: What?
Him: I had to wear an ABU top with A1C stripes on it. (He hasn't been an A1C for 6 months)
Me: Epic fail.
Him: Not on my part! Go sort laundry.
Me: Yes sir. In five minutes.

Sometimes I'm terrible at the whole domestic thing. I guess I just need to keep reminding myself of this.

Bahahaha!
Yeah right.

LOL! I <3 this. :)

Sometimes I tell my husband he's lucky it got washed at all. If he needs it folded, then I guess it's up to him. HAHA!

I harp on myself about this all the time. I don't cook and laundry is delayed as long as possible. But I do clean. Not as often as I should, but it happens. And I have to remind myself that I don't have to be June Cleaver to be a good wife. I put too much pressure on myself and I shouldn't.

But I will say when I slack on the laundry, my husband does start his own loads with his uniform. Which pushes me to start laundry. God bless him.

We decided a few years ago that he would take over his work laundry because of stuff like that happening. Although it was more him not telling me he needed a certain item cleaned on a certain day.

LOL. Oh the terror of only having two stripes. I love it. Mine does his own laundry. Thankfully. He'd be wearing a PT uniform to work if left up to me.
