For those of you Lovelies who did not spot this little gem on the
Facebook Page earlier this week, you're in for a treat! I saw this on someone's blog (don't hate me that I forgot which one!) and I literally laughed out loud. I needed that and every time I see it, it still makes me chuckle.
Are you ready?
Eat well.Exercise daily.Die anyway.
Score!
Now if I were the exercising kind, which I'm not, then I'd feel totally guilty by the fact that 5 minutes ago I walked into the kitchen to get a Slimfast, and I walked out with a glass of milk and a giant piece of pumpkin pudding cake with cream cheese frosting. I can't be found solely responsible you know, a woman from my church brought it to me tonight.
Does it count for anything if its organic and whole grain and originated from a health food store? Probably not since it doesn't taste like poop dirt it did.
Like I said, if I were someone who exercised daily, I'd be angry at myself and probably give myself a good pep talk in the mirror with the words "very disappointing" and "tub-o-lard" thrown in sporadically. As it is, I'll just sit here and keep enjoying it.
What's that saying? Have your cake and eat it too.
No problem.

You're making me hungry now, and not for healthy food. I went to the BX today and had Captain D's. I can't resist the okra or hush puppies, I just can't. But...I did get steamed broccoli so that has to count for something...right? God will forgive me!!
Ya know what, I'll have TWO pieces of cake! Hahaha!
That is awesome!!!!! It's true...we will all die at some point! I guess our lifestyle might also decide that fate. But you my friend have nothing to worry about!
Girl scout cookies have been my problem lately. I mean I have to buy them. They are for a good cause.
Whole grain? That DEFINITELY sounds healthy! No guilt. I feel your workout pain. I really, really freaking hate to exercise, but my fat jeans are getting a bit tight. I'm more of a cheapstake, so I guess I'll try to fit into them rather than buy new.
That pie sounds like heaven! I've seen that quote, it makes me giggle.
Life is too short not to enjoy every bite.
I would totally agree but since I'm a Kinesiology and Biochem major--- hearing lectures everyday about the negative effects of sitting on my kiester has terrified me into movement. I don't want to be a fat old lady who either dies from complications of cardiovascular disease (heart attack or stroke), diabetes or osteoporosis.
When we're 80, you can call me and I'll come and visit you in hospice--- I might even jog there and jog back :) jk
ha ha.. The hubby NEVER likes treats and last night he started talking he wanted a pumpkin pie.. so I bought one with whip cream and then we ate 1/2 each.. we sat there and giggled and said "It must be the cancer...lol"
I agree. Life is too short not to enjoy your food.

Our wedding is in January and sadly to say I feel as apathetic about working out as your pumpkin pie story :) I either need to get my bootie in shape or just enjoy the chocolate chip cookies that are sitting in a bag right next to me :)
