Mil-Spouse Friday Fill-in #20 & Mil-Spouse Weekly Round-Up

It's meme time. Yay! Be sure to head to Wife of a Sailor's blog for the Friday Fill-In and to Devil Dog Darling's blog for the Mil-Spouse Weekly Round-up

1. A different twist on last week’s question. This week, the first question is: what’s the nicest thing a MILSPOUSE has ever done for you?

I have a hard time picking just one. I can't tell you how many MilSpouse readers I have had help me out in one way or another. I had one Mil Lovely send me a beautiful custom handmade infertility and infant loss awareness bracelet the other day. Some people's kindness astounds me.

2. How often do you drive faster than the speed limit?

Well I got two tickets under the age of 18 and the points on my license made it to where I couldn't get another ticket until after I was 22 or I'd lose my license for 18 months (AZ is strict!) so rarely. I have gotten into the habit of setting my cruise control even if its only at 30 MPH. I think my exception is when I am driving cross country I'll set it to maybe 5-10 over the posted speed limit.

3. Did you have a nickname in school? If so, what was it?

Shelly, Shelly Belly, Chelle, Chelle Belle, Sis, Sister Sue...

4. If your life was a book, what would the title be and how would it end?

Up to now??? Man I don't know. I have moments where I think about the stuff going on right now and I just think about how messy things are but then I have single, glorious moments where I reflect on a smile or a kiss from Mr. Superman and I get all rainbows and unicorns happy. So, I don't know. I also don't know how it will end.

5. Look back (in your planner if you have one) to September 14th… what did you do that day?

I was in the process of finishing packing up my house in GA alongside Mr. Superman and my MIL. We were trying our hardest to enjoy every moment and soak up each other.

I got out of 3 speeding tickets before I finally got the 4th (it as reckless) but I went to driving school and had my record cleared before I turned 18. Now, I only ever go 5 over, or 7 to 10 if I am on the interstate traveling a distance.

Thanks for joining the round-up this week :)

Love your answers on the mil spouse fill-in. I really need to get back into that. I used to do it every week but I've been such a slacker lately! I saw the questions and loved them, but I totally got stuck on the title of a book for my life.

And how sweet that your mil spouse friend sent you that bracelet. I've said it before but I'll say it again: we mil spouses have the best community of support in the whole world.

And can I also say again how much I adore your blog layout?! Every time I see it I just love it all over again.

Keep smiling my friend. :)
