A Little Late Jumping on the Band Wagon...

That's me. I know its the day before Halloween but I finally found a layout I loved. I tried changing it a couple times but once they were posted I thought they were so ugly. Its like when I go shopping and find stuff that looks so cute on the rack then I try it on only to find its completely unflattering.

So my nausea continues and people keep telling me to take a prego test. Trust me guys, that thought hit me and I already did. Had it been positive I wouldn't be complaining about being sick. I'd actually have a reason behind it. That and we would've told everyone by now. We are no good at secrets.

Quick update on Cody. He finally got his application sent off to University of Utah (thank you so much Robyn). He also took the initiative and applied for the Western States Exchange. Its a program that a lot of the Western states universities offer students if they are transferring from one Western state to another. Its a ploy to keep students from going back East for school. The incentive is that you get close to in state tuition which ends up being almost a five grand difference per semester. Since we will be new to Utah we applied for this to save money. By the time we qualify for in state tuition Cody will be done with school. In December he only has a year and a half left! We also applied for a tone of scholarships so everyone cross your fingers and pray for us!

That's about it. Cody's professor was nice enough to give him the night off tomorrow so we are going over to Amber's house (I know big surprise right) along with almost my whole family for dinner and Halloween festivities. I will try to be sure to get some pictures. We love you all!

I fixed it. There.

Alright, alright, in response to my mother-in-law and my good friend Millie I took off the post that used to fill this space. Why? Because they did their research. I am a lame-o. On every post I do, at least the political or public ones, I do my research. Not this last one though. I do apologize. I had it forwarded to me by a friend who had found it on a independent party political blog. I trusted the article and it is fabricated so in an attempt to be fair, I deleted it. I dislike Obama strongly and thinks the idea of his being President is beyond absurd but it's not right of me to post something that is untrue. I fixed it though. So there you all go! Ode to those who corrected me okay!

Nothing Interesting

So I've been needing to post but I have absolutely nothing to say. Nothing. Zip, zilch, nada. Cody and I voted early. We mailed in our ballots about a week ago. We've been trying to get things together for my mom's garage sale. I've been putting it off because that means going through boxes and cleaning and that all leads to starting to pack and I'm dreading it. ABSOLUTELY, ONE HUNDRED PERCENT, TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY DREADING IT. I've also been fighting some kind of flu bug the last couple of days. I had been doing so well lately, no more passing out, not too bad with the migraines... then about four days ago I ate and about an hour later got really sick. I though it was the food but then the next time I ate it happened again. So for about four days now, every time I eat, I get extremely nauseous but I'm able to keep it down. Good right? Well I dread eating but as things tend to go for me, if I don't eat something worse happens. I get dizzy then like last night, I pass out. It no fun and it is a vicious circle but I know it'll go away. It has to right? That's really about it. Hope all is well with you all!

Happy Anniversary to Us!!

Well it's been one year today that Cody and I said, "I do." Its been almost 24 hours since we knelt across the altar and were sealed. We are now and forever each other's. We are so happy and had a wonderful day yesterday. The day started off bright and early with getting our pictures done. Carrie (Cody's sister) did a wonderful job. After that we had our nephew Jacob's baptism. It was so special, and we all went to my sister's house afterwards for an AMAZING brunch. After the brunch Cody and I had to head home to get ready to go to the temple. We were so glad that our family was able to be there. We wanted to say thank you to Katie Steele for holding Parker for Katie Organ. We also just wanted to say thank you to Cody's mom, my mom and dad, Justin & Gin, Amber & Jeff, Ryan & Camille, Jared & Katie, my aunt Naoma and Grandma Burnham for being there with us to share our very special day with us. Thank you all. After getting sealed we all went out to dinner and were joined by the rest of Cody's sisters and his dad. It was such a good day. After dinner Cody surprised me and took me to Build A Bear to make a bear to commemorate our anniversary and getting sealed. Let me tell you those people take their jobs very seriously. So here are some pictures of our busy and fun filled day yesterday.

A Baby Named Aiden

Aiden is our little buddy. We are so attached to him and can't even imagine being away from him for so long when we move. We love all of our nieces and nephews but we have been so close to Aiden since he was born. He is such a cute little boy and he has started to get his stinker pot side. I have some pictures and a video of him. He has been saying a few words here and there and I have been trying SO hard to get him to say Chelle before we move. He's so ornery and thinks its funny to say different words instead of Chelle. The other pictures are from him laying on the table, sitting on the toilet and from our treck out with Nana (Jeff's mom) to Deseret Book and Elephant Bar today. The pictures where he is making a funny face is because he was chomping down on some lemon rinds. He is such a crack up.

He definitely keeps us all on our toes and no matter what he does, his blue eyes and baby smile make up for it all.

Domestic Diva? Only when I'm With My Sister

Alright for all of you who know me, you know that when I got married I didn't cook. At all. I was capable, I just hated doing it. Not my thing at all. Cody can attest to the fact that I cook though. I do it quite a bit. I bake every once in a while too. Well since we're moving soon and I fall under the currently unemployed bracket, I spend most of my time with my sister. She is ten years older than me but we're still pretty close. Aiden is her youngest, the baby Cody and I are extremely attached to. Well the other day we did some grocery shopping then made some yummy salsa, breakfast burritos and pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. Everything turned out so so good and I took pictures to prove that I actually cooked. I also helped do Halloween decorations and I mastered the spiderwebs outside. I don't have a house to decorate so I help Amber out whenever I can. Whenever we get together we make at least one Sonic run. We love our Route 44 Dr. Pepper. The picture of Abby is of her princess hair. I did her hair fancy and she looked so pretty so I took a picture.

The Last One.... Maybe

So I had grown quite irritated and frustrated with all the political stuff going on and had sworn off posting anything until I had something good, upbeat, and non political. I changed my mind. I have one more, or at least one more for now. I may post more but I promise I'll post a cute one with pictures later that is completely off the topic of the election. I had this forwarded to me and it has a religious aspect to it. Hopefully this will open some eyes and make you rethink.

A Trivia question in Sunday School: How long is the beast allowed to have authority in Revelations?

Answer: Revelations Chapter 13 tells us it is 42 months, almost a four-year term of a Presidency.

All I can say is 'Lord, Have mercy on us!' According to The Book of Revelations the anti-Christ is: A man, in his 40's, of MUSLIM descent, who will deceive the nations with persuasive language, and have a MASSIVE Christ-like appeal....the prophecy says that people will flock to him and he will promise false hope and world peace, and when he is in power, will destroy everything.

Does anyone else recognize this description?? I STRONGLY URGE each one of you to post this as many times as you can! Each opportunity that you have to send it to a friend or media outlet, do it! I refuse to take a chance on this unknown candidate who came out of nowhere.

From: Dr. John Tisdale

Dear Friends,

As I was listening to a news program last night, I watched in horror as Barack Obama made this statement with pride... 'we are no longer a Christian nation; we are now a nation of Christians, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists...'

As with so many other statements I've heard him (and his wife) make, I never thought I'd see the day that I'd hear something like that from a presidential candidate in this nation. To think our forefathers fought and died for the right for our nation to be a Christian nation--- and then fight til their deaths to form a government with just the right amount of checks and balances and have everything based on Christianity. Only to have this man say with pride that we are no longer that. How far this nation has come from what our founding fathers intended it to be. It breaks my heart and scares me to death.

I hope that each of you will do what I'm doing now---send your concerns, written simply and sincerely, to the Christians on your email list. Post it everywhere for all to see. With God's help, and He is still in control of this nation and all else, we can show this man and the world in November that we are, indeed, still a Christian nation!

Please pray for our nation and stand up to those who wish to defile and forsake everything this nation was built on.

Some Fun Things...

I thought it was about time for me to post something, Chelle has sworn off posting anything new until she has something non-political and doesn't think she is going to have anything new anytime soon so I thought I would share some cool pictures. Here you guys go!
